- OVERSEAS CONSULTING
- 1977-1983 Developed Aloe Farm for Dallas based Lady Love Cosmetics. Created SOP for row crop commercial propagation of aloe vera.
- 1984 Traveled to Jamaica after 1983 devastating freeze to preview farms for commercial aloe propagation and resource procurement.
- 1986 Created SOP for assembly line extraction process and established bulk resource supply business for cosmetic and pharmaceutical clients.
- 1990 Puerto Rico. Advised local prominent family having land with aloe vera plants wanting to set up an extraction facility.
- 1992 Bangkok, Thailand. Traveled on behalf of Global Alliance and USDA sponsored agriculture exchange program. Met with Dr. Paiboola Gavinlertvintana and discussed methods of aloe propagation using tissue cultures for transplant material.
- 1994 Established UPC coding and grading standard for aloe vera leaves as a recognized commodity in the U.S. produce markets.
- 1997 Registered and trademarked the logo and brand name ALOE KING.
- 1998 Provided aloe starter plants for the State of Hawaii sponsored Reta-H program and advised area farmers on propagation techniques.
- 1998 Director of Development and Operations for the Guterman International Aloe Vera Industry Group. Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. Established a maquiladora processing operation using local aloe resources for Japanese multi-level marketing company.
- 1999 Provided certified plant stock for government sponsored aloe plantations and advised local farmers on propagation and commercial harvesting and processing techniques on Miyako Island, Okinawa. Created the Extractomatic assembly line filleting machine.
- 2000 Negotiated contract for 800,000 aloe transplants with the Liangshan Agriculture Investment Company, Chengdu, China.
- 2001 Director of Development for the Souzhou Guterman Aloe Vera Greenhouse operations a 20 acre, terraced and climate controlled greenhouse facility in Wuxi, China,
- 2002 Attended the Food and Agribusiness Exposition, Havana, Cuba . Toured local aloe vera farms and discussed the medicinal merits of aloe vera with President Fidel Castro.
- 2002 Consulted with Lewis Alfa Agrotech Limited, Ahmedabad, India, on processing and manufacturing of aloe vera for beverage and cosmetic manufacture. Co-registered and trademarked the ALOE KING logo and name brand in India.
- Hosted Ugandan delegation from the Uganda Aloe Vera Growers Association. Negotiated contract for certified plant stock for Co-Op farmers Kampala, Uganda, Africa.
- 2006 Consulted with Amboni Sisal Plantation, Tanzania, Africa, on stabilization techniques and formulations for a new venture, Ambo-Vera, Tanga, Tanzania.
